Any glass artist wanting to come camp at Paradise Acres for a 3day friday-sunday event is welcome to come( heads up will help me plan what to have pre setup .) It will be held in 77 Lorene lane murphysboro I'll 62966. There is an Amtrak station in Carbondale 15 min away and I can pick anyone up who uses it. I can fit up to 8 artists comfortably in our barn if we get that many.

Free camping on private river site and I'll buy food for grilling out. I have one oxy tank someone can use if they refill or we can use my oxycon setup. Bring glass, tools and whatever you'll need to camp. I have tables & chairs for all.

Date to be set soon. But expect roughly 4 weeks away.

i used to go to school at siuc there is good fishing all around but i never fished in murphysboro. i miss devils kitchen lake.

Ya right lol campsite has no electric unless you bring it. If you do though it has two huge dusk to dawn lights. We will camp there and go work in the 40x60 barn.

This will be funny, but an easy weekend if no one can come to the blackhole of america for a free lesson and colab session. Other than the hand full of locals I'm in a deadzone of glass. 2.5 hour trip minimum to a headshop. Us locals rarely collab these days, everyones off doing their own shit. So I'm used to being isolated, but I hope a few can make the trip. I've got 6 wanting to come but work or other things are making it unsure they say. I guess we will see in time. Looking forward to this if it happens.

Well. I've been invited to be flown out west for a month and goto a glass convention.

Since I'll be gone a month I'm pushing the gathering back a month.

I'll post new dates when I get back. Some were asking for it to be later anyway. Hopefully those people will be able to come now when I do get to throw this bash. The free event will still happen. I'll keep you all informed
