Well, I very seldom get up at 5 am. So heres my story..yesterday I golfed in the biggest charity event called the Christal House Open, the Christal House was founded in Indiana, whose primary mission is to help the underprivledged children of the world, and break the cycle of poverty. This tournament is played by 2200 golfers, where the first ball is tee'd up in the morning in Bangalore, India, then the first ball hit is picked up by fed-ex, taken to the airport, put on a jet, and flown to Oahu, Hawaii, where it is put in play by the last team, the last person left to putt it in the hole. This charity event is played at 24 tournament sites spanning 6 continents in 9 countries and 22 time zones, all on one day, to benefit the children of Christel house. Our team was fortunate to finish 2nd in this event, I'm by no means a good golfer, but am supported by a few good ones.
On our 7th hole, I had to back up the golf cart, from the passenger side, well the cart hit a ditch, I went flying out of the cart, landed on my back and slammed my head on the ground, all while doing 2 back flips and nearly getting run over by the cart in the process ( I only had 1 beer by the way) Today, I'm off to the doctor, I have a knot in the back of my head, a stiff neck, and my back hurts like hell...
Moral of the story...golf is a dangerous game..but we raised thousands of dollars to help the children.
Think I'll stick with glassblowing :rollin
