Hello everyone :)

I'm relatively new to the glass world and have had nothing but kind experiences with "your type". Sage Holland borders saintly with her endless support and guidance, and Ryan Pleso has been nothing but a friend since I called him out of the blue and asked him to teach me what he knows.

I live in Memphis TN, and have been off and on with soft glass since late late 2014, starting with a hothead and some glass rods from a chain hobby store. I've since upgraded to a Carlisle mini CC, two oxy-cons (5lpm, 5psi), and am piecing together a ventilation system and searching for a kiln so I can quit cursing my soft-glass pendants so frequently.

Edit: Frustration breeds stupidity at times. Immaturity allows us to write about it publicly for the world to see.

Real jobs with benefits are why those on this board get to keep their Equipment as opposed to selling it to pay medical bills or car repairs. To each his own but I'm kind of tired of these types of stories. But it's a free country. Live and learn.

I appreciate that and apologize for such an immature introduction.

No big deal. There are some pretty nice part time gigs at Fed Ex in Memphis. I'm just concerned for those with no back up plan.

Sage is awesome, her beads are 1 of the reasons I got into glass.
