Hi,
My apologies, if this question has been asked before.
Can we use ceramic kiln for glass fusing? I have read somewhere, we can't.
Please help.
Thanks Heaps!

Yes, you can.
You can't stack shelves, though.
Glass kilns for fusing usually have heating coils in the lid, helping to keep the temperature even over the horizontal plane, but some fusing kilns also have heating coils on the sides to help the kiln reach the higher temperatures.
With the ceramic kiln, you probably want to avoid getting close to the wall, and some people put a barrier, such as a dam between the coils and the piece.
Even when using kilns designed for fusing, many artists test to develop a profile of their kiln (that is, find out where the hot spots are), so that would be a good thing to do when using a ceramics kiln.
As for why you can't, maybe it depends on how the kiln control system works, but as long as you can control the temperature manually or automatically and monitor the temperature, I don't see why you couldn't use the ceramics kiln.
I suppose one concern in using a kiln previously used for ceramics might be that by products from glazing might have contaminated surfaces in the kiln and might cause undesired reactions with your fusing projects.
