About time they put out something to fill the $200 -$975 gap in prices.
I could see how this could be good for folks with a lynx sized torch who need a larger flame for a simple $300 upgrade.
A couple years ago I would have been all over this.
I wish them luck with the new burners.

Do you have a bigger picture? I want a better look at the illustration of the ports on the right.

I forgot to mention. Beth also has those two torch sizes in hand torches coming out.

The angle of the head on the hand torch will make it kind of awkward making side seals on the lathe.

Can't be one stage with 4 valves.

Looks like it is the same setup as a Major or Redmax. Small fire on top. Large fire on bottom.
This image is from Bethlehem Burners facebook page.
Pricing seems strange though...
Stacks 1 = $200, Stacks 2 = $300, Base = $50. (200+300+50=$550)
Fully Assembled = $575 (?)
are you paying $25 for them to put it together?

From Kate:
The price mix up was because I made that handout at 2 in the morning. These torches were finished on Wednesday and I didn't have a lot of time. I'm very sorry for the confusion.
The hand torch is modeled after the the old PME/Sharp Flame hand torch. It will create the sharp pinpoint flame flame workers have been asking for.
The Stacks torch is our way to provide the ever growing beginner flame working market, with a far more affordable Bethlehem torch. We want to be able to provide beginning flame workers with high quality equipment but at prices that work for those just starting out.
Also, the top mount for the Stacks IS the new center fire design people have been asking for for many years. Once these torches go into production and we receive flame worker feedback, we will be able to incorporate this design into our Champion, Grand and other prototype Beth torches.
The hand torches and Stacks torch will be available come late spring early summer. The price for the Stacks is as follows:
Stacks: $575
Stacks 1 : $250
Stacks 1 (no base): $225
Stacks 2: $350
Stacks 2 (no base) $325
Base: $50
Hand torches Ball Park estimate between $250 and $300.

Remember when bravos with the old base were like $700? Those things look cool, but not that cool. If the stacks 2 is a single stage bravo it's awesome for $350, and the handtorches are rad. A bravo handtorch for a reasonable price. and new sharp flames? I don't see the stacks one as anything but an alpha or a minor and the base is lame, but the bigger fire alone is something. Under a lynx.
They need to do the next size up. Single stage champion for $500? single stage grand? that sounds interesting.

A Grand hand torch would be a good time. That outer fire is beastly.

The bravo flame for $300 is going to be a big hit with the people who cant afford $1,200 for a phantom.
Kate says the smaller torch is identical to the PM2D center fire.

Yeah if I sold my Phantom I could buy the stack and both hand torches and have some change left over.
