I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask, but I'll give it a try anyways: I am currently working on a project where I need a large amount of the light bulbs below, but more accurately; I need the glass container or the glass bulb itself, not the halogen lamp inside of it. My question is; does anyone know who manufactures these glass bulbs?

I actually talked with OSRAM beforehand, because I know they sell these products, and they told me they actually get these glass bulbs pre-ordered from other manufactures, and their job is simply to attach the halogen lamps on the inside. Too bad he didn't wanna give me the names of these manufacturers. And yes, I have tried to google it.
Thanks.

It's possible one of our scientific workers or someone who has been in the industry a long time might know about this even though we all work with much different glass. Maybe someone who has a cue will come along. Good luck in your hunt.

It's an important project to me, so I'll guess I just have to be patience. Thank you.

If someone knows about anyone who also sells these class bulbs (picture above) in large quantities, that would be also very helpful to know about.

Have you tried china? I saw the Phillips brand but I'd think you'd be able to buy the same thing but Chinese through alibaba/aliexpress/dhgate/one of the import sites.

I looked for about a minute and found those, you might have better luck with better search keywords. Communication isn't easy easpevially details- Put up a Craigslist ad for someone that speaks mandarin and have them contact the factory and translate? Worth a shot.

Buying directly from China would be a good option. I've tried to search on alibaba ect previously, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm gonna take a look at the other sites you listed as well.
Regarding the idea using a Craiglist ad; I need to look into it, because I've never heard about Craiglists before. But it sounds like something that could work.
Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it very much!

What is going on here, can we please go back to the original subject? I'm currently working on a project which is very serious to me. If my name happens to be offending, I'm sorry, it was never my intention to refer to people with Downs Syndrome ect.
How about a name change just to avoid the problem. For now you are Mr.Lightbulb (because you want a lightbulb source and it's too early for me to think of something cooler). If you want something else, let me know.

This thread is full of bs I should technically spend the time deleting/editing because of these 15 guidelines above. Including #11 where we're discussing how/when/why I should delete/not delete/edit. My bad. I shouldn't have played favorites with Twist here and taken the time to answer his questions. I should have just deleted it all and moved on. Which I will take the time to do now.
Apologies to the OP for the disruption of his thread.
