Abr imagery, glasscraft, and mountainglass arts usually. I've heard people bitch about glasscraft before, but they have always treated me well. Mountainglass arts has the BEST packing methods(I've never even gotten a chipped tube from them) and they send you free music with every order. Plus they'll plant a tree if you spend more that 100$.

American Laboratory Supplies (510)620-0220, or when I have to Global Trading Glass. They are both driving distance from Santa Cruz, and they have great prices.

Man, you guys are lucky. Do you know what I would do to be able to just trot on over to the #%$%#% glass store? One day... One day.....(stares off into space)
mountain glass is awsome ive never had a problem w/ them. when i was buying my torch (national 8m) they were sold out of the tip that i wanted so they gave me the next best tip (sm 21). like izzy said they are fantastic w/ shipping. only complaint i have w/ them was they gave me a dave show once. www.mountainglassarts.com

technolux in brooklyn always gets my money. really nice guys great prices and sales and only a 20 minute ride away. mike
I guess mike must be passe now, used to be that Frantz was on the tips of everyone's tongue...Was it the friendly and knowledgeable customer service, the weekly and monthly specials, or was it JEDI the wunderkind? I still shop there, it's only 40 minutes away and case price is $3 a pound on kimble/kimax/simax metric hw tube + no shipping. I like to browse too.

I shipped a big box of color to Zellis on Maui and I didn't think it was that expensive to ship from Trev's Glass in Washington to there.

Sundance in northern Cali (artglass1.com). Not bad, good cust. service, but some of the Kimax rods have been scratched up. Not cool when you're buying the fat stuff. Real comprehensive website, though. Next best thing to buying in person...(except fer the dern scrathes).

DONT GO TO SUNDANCE!!!...They'll rip you off. The only GOOD things from Sundance are the graphite reamers. If you have to buy glass by the tube or just a couple of pieces MAYBE sundance if yo HAVE to. But around here(where you are moving to) there are plenty of good suppliers out there.
