This week's progress. The dicro is surviving at a greater rate. More figuring out this dichro. thin stuff. Heat only one side of the dichro. Then it doesn't burn normally.
I make my hearts from a tube and blow them. So I can see you are making the disc shape differently.
But you got the dichro too hot.

I cut a shard of dichro and wrap it around a piece of color. Then I encase it with clear. Then pull cane. Then I apply the cane inside the tube.

This one is a little burnt but is silver colored. I made an implosion with it. Then shaped it into a spin station.

I made it all with scrap dichro too. Cut it up with a pair of nippers.

You need to mix it with an opaque color. For example turbo cobalt.

It's kind of my trademark color. So please change it up a little but I use cobalt with my dichro scrap.

Only torch the glass side not the color coated side of it will burn.
