Hey Chicago Glassblowers,

I hope that you'll come out to Chicago Hot Glass for the inaugural Second Saturday Open Blow! This will be a regular monthly event that happens every second Saturday. Even if you don't do any hot shop work, I hope you'll drop by and attend it as a social occasion. Bring food to share, libations if you drink 'em :-)

Our inaugural Second Saturday Open Blow is happening this coming Saturday, June 9th at 6PM and it is open to hotshop glassblowers.

All you have to do is show up!
$20
You will get a minimum of two work object attempts over the course of the evening
Raw glass color provided
Glassblowing partners will be on site to assist you in creating wonderful artwork

Please don’t miss this opportunity to improve your glass skill set, as well as to reconnect with old friends and make new friends in the Chicago glass community. This is going to be a wonderful social event, please feel free to bring food to share.

This is an ongoing event that takes place every second Saturday at the studio; if you’re unable to make it this month, I hope that you’ll join us next month on July 8th.
