Well it's been a while! I really did not have internet for many years and no computer. I am old school, even flip phone till a few months ago. Well my cos bought me a kindle to use during my chemotherapy treatments- seems i got colon cancer for christmas! I think we can cure it and I'll be ok in a year or so. I plan to come back to this community now that I got the tech and the down time.

unsolicited advice: look into an alkaline diet. my father should have died years ago from aggressive prostate cancer that they never caught. the doctors dont know why he is alive but he lived by this body PH theory and supposedly it helped. Wish i could say it was the cure... but for the sake of eating certain things i would give it a shot.

Sounds like your joining the ileostomy club, been a member for a few years now. My entire colon is removed, they left the rectum incase i want a j pouch but im sticking with what i got and need the stump removed. Im also in p.a, between philadelphia and lancaster. I dont know anyone elce around here who blows glass. Dont hesitate to ask me anything.
