Happy 18th birthday to our forum which was founded 18 years ago today by Kristian Turley, who has recently become active on the forums again after a many year hiatus. Welcome back and thank you for starting the forum so many years ago.

Thank you to each and every one of you who make this place special by sharing information and advice with each other. Thank you to every moderator who volunteers their time to keep the place running smoothly. And thank you to all of our supporters and sponsors who help us keep the lights on.

The people I have met here have helped me to lead my life in directions it never would have gone otherwise. I've done a laundry list of things that I would never have even known were possible, had i not dove into glass. That's my favorite thing about The Melting Pot.
