Ive orderd a 1/4 sheet of Dichroic Alchemy and it is really cool, works great. I noticed CBS is cheaper and was wondering if anyone had any experience with both. I have no experience with CBS.

I think that D Alchemy has their dichroic done by CBS.

They did when we at Trev's Glass started having ours made there.
Little background of CBS we were told by them a beginning They made
dicro for the space station and had scraps and some one came and asked
if they could have the scraps and they made pendants and sold them up at Venice Beach
so CBS decided to make dicro for glass blowers too and that is why we have
dicro available now. Always loved that story. I have been there seeing the
machine that makes it.

What about "Boro Crow Labs" ?
^ That's not dichroic, it's a iridized coating.
Boro crow looks different , because it is different.
Iridized coatings are a little less bling, little more prone to burn out unless it's got a thick coating... And all borocrow is Asian tube stock.

When I started using Dichroic alchemy in 2002ish, they told me that their flat base glass was Schott brand and they use thicker glass than CBS... CBS uses thinner glass and I dont know what brand glass they use.
-The glass thickness of the dichroic sheet will present a different dynamic when working it.
