Working in a garage is kinda hot and cold... Anyone ever use a shop with air reconditioning? Guessing my exhaust fan would need a intake vent... and that would be hot or cold depending so I would be just waisting money trying to run the ac? Any thoughts would be cool

Worked in a shop in Cali that had a swamp cooler intake for the summer and gas radient heaters for winter. Was a solid setup. Definitely a waste of money to run AC. You should look into a swamp cooler for your air intake. It makes it humid but drops the temp considerably

In the summer I do night shift. Get started after dinner and enjoy to cool night air.

I unplug my central air and use it for the oxygen Machines so it not much of an option here.
I could use a swamp cooler on my intake. I will have to find one.

You should look into a swamp cooler for your air intake. It makes it humid but drops the temp considerablyI really dont care about how much AC costs, just if it would work... I use 3000 cfm as an out take and I would imagine that the AC would run pulling from inside the unit I am looking to rent. so this would not work as I would have to have an intake... didnt know if someone had rigged there AC intake to the outside or something. Dunno if that would kill the AC or not. Definitely thinking a swamp cooler is the way to go because of that, money aside.

provide an intake that is a little less than the exhaust, and have it go right behind where you stand.
you will be in a little wind tunnel of fresh, warm air.
the rest of your studio could be air conditioned.

We use portable AC units under the bench pointed right at us on the hottest of hot days.
