My buddy bought four tickets and a camping pass (good for four campers), and now he can't go. I figured I'd give the heads up here to anyone who's interested. For those who don't know, Reggae on the River (http://www.reggaeontheriver.com/) is a massive 3-day festival of reggae held in the redwood forests of Humboldt county. It starts this Friday, August 4th, and goes until Sunday the 6th.
There's going to be a lot of big names playing (Ziggy Marley, Michael Franti, Barrington Levy, etc) and it looks to be a lot of fun. I wish I could go... Anyway, he asked me to put the tickets up on eBay, so I did. Overnight shipping is available, as this thing starts soon.
Oh, did I mention? This thing is 100% sold out. This is the perfect opportunity to get a few buddies chipping in together to have a fantastic weekend. Tickets retail for $165 each, and the pass is $205 for a grand total of $865. Bidding starts at $800, and the auction runs until August 2nd at around noon.
Here's the link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200012680740). Hope somebody from here picks this up - I'd rather see one (or four) of you guys go rather than somebody I've never met... If you ask real nice I can probably sell the tickets separately, but I'd much rather do this in a package deal...
