Some new features for users…

Let’s see if I can remember most of them:

Give reputation points to other members for helpful posts and raise their reputation level. (Leave a reason or the points will disappear)
Give infractions to other members which will create a thread in the staff rooms automatically and gives users an infraction level.
Change your own user title
More picture options
Signature settings (not too long or annoying ;) )
Signature image storage.
See skype users logged on
Quick edit
Multi-quote
Link multi-quotes
Only active users (active within 60 days) display birthday’s events etc.
Open/close your own threads – please use this for your classifieds threads!
Artist Bio/Statement Field in Profile
No new posts? See what threads have been updated in the last 24 hours in case you missed anything new!
Better RSS and XML Syndication systems.

There are too many to list, but I found a link! It has explanations and images to help learn the new gear, too. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186803

Some lost features:

No bgold skin
No chat for now

Any questions ask a staff member. Have fun, and hope you guys enjoy the upgrades. :bouncy:

I can see this breeding corruption within time...or maybe just folks getting real upset for getting infractions they feel they did not deserve.

Otherwise. HOLY COW! AWESOME NEW STUFF!!! REALLY AWESOME!

Dear Misha,

If you could please define inappropriate language.

I'm not being flippant, I don't want to accumulate so many infractions that I won't be able to do whatever somebody with a lot of infractions can't do.

Reason being, I try to express myself in a passionate manner to the extent that the origins of my native tongue become apparent. The origins being old English, Germanic, Saxon and Celtic. I understand that some people in the world speaking what we call English have lost their link with the origins of their language vocabulary due to filtering by religious groups and I feel that is a sad loss for them.

If you could please clarify the description of inappropriate language that would help me a lot, because I fucking love it here.

and I love what you do, somedays you are my reality check, thank you sincerely for all your efforts.

I'll take an infraction for hi-jacking the thread a minute! We missed you at Frantz' and Momka's yesterday. Matt was working out big time and I bet he's sore as hell today. But he's lookin real good for such recent major surgery.
Warmest, PJ

Skip, I guess I don't have one cause I'm admin....hmm...well you can test it on matt! :lol

Paul, infractions should be used lightly. You know, for when someone comes and spams the forum with their stupid pass a drug test crap like yesterday, or when someone is being flat out mean which doesn't happen often lucky for us. We have such a great group of people here, I don't think you gotta worry about much. As far as language, that "rule" is more of a technicality.

PJ, I missed you guys, too. I wish I could have come. I hope you guys had a good turn out.

IE View Plugin for Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/35/)
Lets you load pages in IE with a single right-click, or mark certain sites to always load in IE. Useful for incompatible pages, or cross-browser testing.

I know it's not a fix, but it's a good workaround. It puts a little FF icon in the bottom right of your screen - click it and the page is rendered with the IE engine (within your firefox window!). Very handy for web devlopment.
