Allright everybody, this is some pretty cool shit. My friend Marcie put together a podcast of artists and industry leaders in flameworking today. She recently posted the first two interviews, the first is with Paul Stankard and fred Birkhill, and the second is with Henry Grimmett and Bill Rassmussen.

here is the link to glasscaster (http://web.mac.com/marciedavis/iWeb/Site/Podcast/Podcast.html)

If you don't know who Marcie Davis is she is an incredible recource on flameworking, she juggles many thing in the flameworking world from producing flameworking videos(all those mickelsen and tounsend videos....that was her) to bringing the Lauchen ( I always butcher that name) artists and glass here from Germany. She has countless friends and recources in the industry so I have a feeling the podcasts will continue to get better and better. Those of you who went to the GAS conference will remember the all night party she threw with her significant other....those of you who haven't seen a german magician do his thing when slightly intoxicated are truly missing out.

Check out the podcast and give her some feedback! I'm sure she would love to hear what you think or who you would like to hear interviewed.

You acrually can my father in law had a brain tumor removed and lost hearing in his right ear so they surgically put this device in his head right behind his ear that actually has a plug and he can plug in his ipod. what it does is tricks his brain into thinking he is hearing out of both ears so it does not mess with his equallibrium.

The Henry Grimmett podcast was transcribed and came out in Profitable Glass Quarterly (http://www.profitableglass.com) (Volume 9, Number 4).

Henrys is the best one I have heard to date... a little cheesy but very informative...that guy knows his business.
I like his victim analogy.....he breaks it down like Dr. laura at the end....

"If you think of (color) as a dynamic system that you are controling and resposible for, then it makes it possible to think of solutions to problems rather than a victim of circumstnce."

Ya, if you like waiting like 15 secs between songs when surfing your pod then the 80 gig is the way to go.

Personally I think the new 8 gig nano is the shizzle. Small, durable, no moving parts.

I'll still be rockin my nano long after your hard drive bites it.

waiting 15 sec between songs? maybe a generation or two ago.. if my hard drive bites it.. i'll just buy 2 more.. i can put everything i've ever wanted on that thing.. everyone knows the small ipods are for girls (borat movie)
