Sorry if this is misfiled. I wasn't sure if it went here or health and safety....

Any idea if the oxy/acetylene twin hose I found at Home Depot can be used with propane? I only ask because I've seen mentioned in other places that the regulators aren't necessarily cross compatible between acet and propane because the propane will rot the material in the regulator. But is the same true for the hoses or are they pretty much standard?

No, you want grade T hose. I think the oxy/ace. hose could work (just don't sue me when you blow yourself up) but will degrade over time from the propane. Maybe there are other reasons, too, I don't know. But if you want to do it right, get T grade hose.
Oh yeah, and the acetylene regulators are fine to use, as long as it is new and/or has never had acetylene run through it.
