Liquid tanks, refurbished available from South Central Cryogenics (317) 831-2045
around $700 eachie. I would request 350 psi pressure release valve. These tanks are sveral thousand brand new.

I think the local gas supply chain sells used k tanks for 100 or 200 $. The deposit is 75$ for 1 K, but if its lost they will charge you 200$ , I think. They are definitely cost much more new. Rental for one K tank here is $8.50/monthly.

For oxy tanks, try your local craigslist as well. For example, right now on the Boston one there's a guy selling 4 cylinders for 200.00 (search for "gas cylinders" if you're looking to jump on this).
The only caveat is a very definite buyer beware. Most likely they'll be used tanks which like a car god only know what sort of life they've had. If you buy the equip. second hand make sure you get it inspected by a professional you can trust. My local welding shop has guys there that treat me as well as they do the bigger customers, so get to know your supplier; it's worth it.

I just mada a purchase, google them, their site name changed a bit. if you are gonna do "hangy type" earrings, I suggest using Steraling Silver, I used surgical stainless steel for a bit, and had lots of complaints wich means no sale...
Good Luck!!
