i was visiting my girlfriend at school in boston last winter and we went to the exibit. It is absolutly incredible. They have hundreds of exact replicas of plants and then to take it a step farther they have magnified cross sections of many flowers. But what really did it for me was there torch and tools. No gtt for them. i have a video of there bench. just dont know how to post it.

wow thanks for posting! these guys are my ultimate hero's. I am fairly convinced that they were aliens though or superheros cause what they did seems impossible. Its really hard to find much info about them so thanks for the video and photos. I will have to make a pilgrimage to harvard someday just to see the flowers. Someone should research them further and write a book! I have the one that is out there but it is only a couple pages of backgroud on the artists and then biological descriptions of the flora with photos of about 40 the scupltures. I'd love to see more of the sealife, how was that freakin octopus! Jup

I went to the exhibit a couple of years ago, still have an outstanding parking ticket, now that I think about it. But there was a wall exhibit in the room that had the table with the burner , tools and foot bellow. In the exhibit there was something about a sea animal that actually makes glass and attaches itself to the sea floor with it. Aside from the Blashka's, whom we all idolize, I thought this was so cool. I always wanted to find out more about that creature but never have. Anyone know anything about it, or those of you who have been to Harvard, Do you remember seeing this exhibit?
