If you're pulling points to use later, can you just set them aside or do you have to anneal them to give them a "shelf life"?

I'm guessing the glass may be thin enough to do fine on it's own, but I figured I'd ask just in case.

You don't have to put them in a kiln. They will be fine just sitting there on the bench. A friend of mine has a really cool system for his points that I'm going to duplicate - he has a sheet of plywood with 3/4" holes drilled in it. When he pulls a point, he drops it down into the hole so it's standing upright. That way he can make a bunch of points in advance and they don't get all cluttered on the bench.

i like to pull my points and stand them up like the plywood tech, or i will put them strait into the kiln to preheat, if im going to be using them that session. cheers keep em strait!!!
