what metal backers should be used?
would you plunge backer into glass or is it fastend on with appoxy?
any helpful lead would be great...tks.

what kind of earrings are you trying to make?
sounds like studs?
get findings from a jewelry supply place like fire mountain gems or rio grande or the like.....
use 2 part epoxy to bond it to your glass piece.......

hexol glue is actually stronger than the glass, you can get it through Olympic color. takes awhile to dry but has a superior bond for glass.

i've always done my earrings like little pendants, then i just buy small sterling silver hoops to put them on. They are quite simple, and most people really like them, and then i never have to deal with glueing or anything either.
