This project is underway again and the library is now open! :D
I want to apologize again for having to close the library for awhile. When I first set up the project I had no idea life would smack me in the face like it did. With the way it was previously built I just wasn’t able to keep it going. So, I rebuilt the entire library from the ground up and hopefully I won’t have to close it again, except for when I’m out of town. ;) Things should run smoothly now. There might be a kink or two on the website to work out but I won’t know until you guys start using it.
I thank you all again for the patience and understanding you’ve all given me. You guys ROCK!! :blowkiss:
Now on to the good stuff! :D
The GLDG Library is linked from the forum on the top right of the navbar. The URL is www.gldglibrary.com
All library memberships will start over from today, and you are all getting an extended 6 months for free! :D I hope this makes up for some of my lag. ;)
There’s an FAQ section (http://www.gldglibrary.com/faqs.php) which outlines how the library will work, please read it! Some things have changed.
One of the things that's changed, is we can now take credit cards outside of paypal! That should make things easier huh! :bouncy:
Those of you, who had paid for check outs and didn’t get to actually check it out, are getting credits. You don’t have to check out what you picked before, pick whatever you want! The credit will be emailed to you shortly.
I’ve linked the “donated by” names to your profiles here unless I knew your site offhand. If you have donated to the library and want your name linked to your website, your gp.org or ga.org gallery, etc. just let me know and I’ll change it.
There are a couple items missing the “donated by” names…if you donated it could you please let me know. There is information on that in this thread. (http://www.thegldg.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8980)
Some of the items don’t have pictures. If you can help out with that please do! :D
And if I've used an image for your publication that you don't want me to use, let me know that, too! I'll do my best to get emails out to the authors/etc. of the library items soon just to make sure, but hoping you see this first and give me the ok to save time. ;)
We could use reviews on the items, anyone care to write any? I will think of something to give in return if you need arm twisting. ;)
I've ordered bubble mailers for some of the items, they aren't here yet holiday ship lag and all, so if you check out something I don't have a mailer for it won't get mailed till I get the mailers. Hopefully they will be here by Wednesday.
I've entered most the items except 2 dvds and a ton of marketing/help books. Figured we could get off the ground with the glass stuff and I'll add the rest as I can.
There's probably more I want to tell you that I can't think of right now...:puzzled:
