Now, that's a hard one, especially for a chocolate lover. Here is this gorgeous "chocolate", mouth wateringly beautiful, yet it is glass, inedible. But it's glass... and it will last forever, always tempting.
The workmanship on those chocolates is incredible.

those are really amazing! i used to make truffles, and have always noticed a correlation between the artistry in glass and chocolate (actually any pastry) work, and always felt that my glass skills helped me in my pastry work. but wow! - you've really compounded the two and created something super tight. i'm inspired to see which of my kitchen skills i can transfer to the glass shop!
i almost didn't look at the post, because who hasn't seen a million glass candies?!
well, i've never seen any like those....glad i looked!

Those are Dinah Hulet's work...a well known marble maker turned chocolate maker. hehe.
I love her candies, but love her marbles even more. I want one for my collection but haven't sniped one yet!

i went back to her website right after i posted and realized it was dinah.....felt kinda dumb! my eyes weren't fully open yet!
still way inspiring nonetheless...
