Three members of the Dead, members of Phish and some members of The Allman Brothers were the "house band" at a $1000 a plate fund raiser dinner party for in honor of the Swearing in of new Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. According to her Spokesperson,"Mrs. Pelosi is a long time Dead Head."

Maybe there is hope for this country yet...

The drudge report had an interesting republican spin on the placement of a couple differnt headlines regarding the concert. Matt Drudge is a self hating homo sexual conservative republican from San Francisco so it's no surprise he don't like the dead.
