Flexible Shaft Machine For Cold Work

Just wondering if anyone out there is using a flex shaft for small scale cold work. I just got my grandpa's old one and I'm looking for ideas. I've used it to drill holes but I think it can be taken a lot further. Just hoping someone has a bit of experience and can give me a jumpstart.

That's how I started out doing it, suspended the machine and worked on the bench with it.

Worked okay but then I needed to get a bigger cutter in so upgraded to a compressed air driven die grinder that copuld take a quarter-inch dia shaft size bit.
