hey all,

has anyone vended 10k lakes before? in the camp ground or acually paying them to vend? wondering what kind of scene is up there. looks like a good time.

2 years ago it was cool to vend all glass. there were more glass vendors than food vendors.. hundreds and hundreds.. it was great to see all that glass, but.. all the money was very very very diluted through all those vendors. bigles and i were there, saw a couple others from the board.. as far away as from oregon and florida!
last year no pipes were allowed (no tobacco accessories). we didn't attend, and lots of others didn't go either. i heard the vending was like a clothes mall.
i don't know what this year will be like, and i'm doubtful that i'd go again.

if you DO go, get the vending coordinator (still katmandu?/grandma/jessie say hi from seth) to give you a list of what the others are vending, and judge for yourself based on that.

the paid vending is decent, but i feel we got hosed that first year. soooooooooo much glass. then again.. i have high expectations.

i don't know about walking around vending.. it's such a huge place, and the paid vending goes way into the campsites. if you pay, get a spot up in northwoods, as close as you can to the actual venue.. that place was PACKED with people 24/7. the other areas can do ok, but not like what it was like up there.

oh.. you're also from Fl.. barefoot stash made it there 2 years ago.. he's from fl.. he had a friggin hot tub setup with a big ol crew.

fun time, pretty open. drive safe, and keep everything about your car legal. no dangly things from the mirror, all lights and windows in good repair.

for the input. i have sent a email to 10k lakes about vending. i have never been there. bonnaroo is kinda going down in my opion the last couple of years and im looking for a nice festie to unwind at. if i go i will let you know so we hook up on the way thru. i am coming from florida but driving has never bothered me.

i went the first year.....didn't buy a permit, gurillia vending ...I made 5 k.......but I wouuldn't recomend it now.
I got busted buy the owener......and she told me to shut down(but that was only cuz she was sellin my pieces out of her both)....and I was compotition.......so I dont really know what to tell ya...except...be carefull about sellin pipes.if ya wana buy a permit and sell pendants and incence burners your good....but be real careful about sellin pieces.
