this the chance for anyone to say what they think should happen at this yearz female torch off. the organization that were donating to this year is going to be a battered woman'z organization.... after last yearz event their are alot of thingz that will go down diffrently, but i would also like all the suggestionz and ideas people might have to make it more funn, or technical or just something i didn't concider...i will anounce open registration when we nail down a venue but get ready!

I liked the atmosphere, I liked the set-up (as a spectator), except for the lack of seating. 12 hours standing... well, the floor felt good eventually.

Maybe some local businesses would donate some stuff like food and beverages for the participants, so they wouldn't have to find their way around the neighborhood when they should be prepping for their turn. I'd bet more beer would go over well too!

Several days would be good too- maybe be able to auction the items off on the last day so that the people who are there can see who bought the pieces, how much they went for... or hey, you could even have a silent auction that takes place or at least starts while the artist is working, so that while people are all excited about the piece, they'll put their bids in on it. Then they pick it up on the last day.

mmm, I'll think some more about it, but I really enjoyed the first event.
