Anyone going to the IFC this year?

I was wondering if anyone was attending the International Flameworking Conference in March this year? Or if anyone wants to share past experiences from the IFC

I thought IFC was the Independent Film Channel? Can you link what your talking about?

I plan on going there, I don't know anyone but i checked out the school last week and I am really thinking of going there, its a little bit of a downer cause of the area. There isnt really much to do and its pretty rural. Drop me an email and maybe we can meet up there.

This will be my third year there and I've got nothing but good things to say about my experiences. Beyond the fact that there are killer demos, panels and presentations all day long, it's a great time to network with fellow artists.

This years lineup looks like the best yet.

I went to the first two conferences. Both were great. Lots of awesome demos, lectures, new equipment, etc. From what I hear, they have only gotten bigger and better. Ill be attending this year.... Be sure to check out Wheaton Village at some point, and if you get a chance run over to Philly for a cheesesteak. I highly reccomend Johns Roast Pork, they are hands down the best steaks in town and arent commercialized/touristy like Pats or Ginos.

Easier to do this year than in the past. Instead of the Saturday night dinner, there's going to be a reception and demo at Wheaton Village.

IFC is a lot of fun, if you havn't been there before make sure you check it out if time allows you to. I have gone the past two years, and had a blast. Lots of good people and fun times, and make sure you stay at the Holiday Inn Select with the bar. I can't go this year, I will be isolated in Penland for two months...
