There is camping there - room for tents or campers/trailers. I think at this point there is still room avail. Pop over to the AGI forum and drop Tom Doner an email about yourself and what not. AGI is the BEST time of the year - so hope you can make it!

AGI is a great experience, you'll learn enough stuff to keep you busy till the next one...

Thanks for the props guys, I really appreciate it!

We still have spaces left, although it’s filling up much faster than I expected. I’m sure a lot of people are going to be upset with me when we have to close the guest list and start turning people away.

We have free camping at Big Don’s place, and there’s also a motel about 10 miles away… it’s under new (and responsible) management for those of you have been there before :)

As far as transportation from the airport is concerned, you can rent a car, carpool with others, or use the airport shuttle… I’ll be posting some information about that soon.

This year we will have a few food vendors on site with a variety of things on the menu. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with grills, deep fryers, stove, etc. to cook your own food… there’s no refrigeration, so you will need a cooler.

You’ll definitely have a great time and meet tons of new people. One of the best things about AGI is that throughout the year we get phone calls and e-mails from friends telling us how much our event has helped them in so many ways, and I’m very proud to be a part of that.

Another cool thing about AGI is that our place was custom built for glass workers… literally. There are approximately 40 work spaces throughout 4 buildings with excellent ventilation. There is a campfire pit to chill out at night, a nice lounge (The Bill Rasmussen Lounge) to chill out in, with air conditioning and a 60” wide screen TV with lots of glass videos to watch.

Generations Glass (http://www.generationsglass.com) and Tecnolux (http://www.tecnolux.com) also have an area where they sell materials so you don’t have to bring glass with you… they also have a selection of tools and equipment, and everything is usually discounted.

I don’t want to sound pushy, but if anyone is interested in being here please call us as soon as possible. I don’t know how many spaces are left, but tickets are going 2 (and sometimes 5) at a time… 8 people just signed up yesterday.

Have a great day, and we'll see you in August!

Sincerely,
Tom and Elaine Doner

BTW- we’re offering a $60.00 discount to attend both the regular AGI (sponsored by Glass Alchemy (http://www.glassalchemyarts.com)), and the Marble AGI (sponsored by Tecnolux (http://www.tecnolux.com)). That’s 10 solid days of classes (and everything else) for under $800.00.
