hey guys ive been doing alot of flowers but now am wondering how to make an implosion rose any ideas?

no tips, ive been getting my implosions down and r looking good i think. im just making pendants right now but when i get a marble mold im gonna be stoked. i know a few people that want roses, ive gotten close but just cant get the real deal. anything even a lil will be awesome.

i make a maria, then draw a spiral on it from the middle out, but the spiral is not continuous i draw a bit then move to the side and draw a bit more, so it looks like they are overlapping kinda...does that make any sense??

then implode like usual...

I SO want it to. . .I tried rosed for a while. . .kind of gave up. . .got any pics? Mine all look like carnations. . .instant breakfast, anyone? Oh no, I feel this thread being sucked over to the technique forum. . .

ok here is a very shitty pic of a rose marble i did a while back with dark ruby i think. again, not the best pic but you can probably get the gist of the layout of the lines....if you pull thinner stringer and put way more lines i think it looks better

I do bouquets of roses but they are just spirals imploded on a rod in a pattern
then sometimes I surround them in 4 green leaves each.

if you want more realism just break up the spiral into multiple lines instead of using one continuous stringer, stagger the lines front and back of each other.
