I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you that have signed up for the first time... I know that you'll have a blast and learn so many new things!

We are also looking forward to seeing all of our old friends- it's the only time Elaine and I get to hang out with you since we're tethered to this place 7 days a week and can't travel.


As far as tickets are concerned, they're still available although it's filling up fast... much faster than we expected... perhaps TOO fast.

We'll see all of you in August, and there will be some more updates coming soon!

Hey, Roze... I'm working on getting the hot tub filled up and ready to go pretty soon. The weather just started getting nice up here and I miss it. The bike came out of the garage yesterday for a short scoot. If you come up, and come early, I'll let you use the hot tub. :)

I am signed up for this and I am so excited. This is my first year here, any suggestions on what a newbie can do to get prepared for such an event? How many of you are camping and how many are staying in a hotel? I don't want to miss ANYTHING so I will sleep in my van if I have too!.

I am so excited about this and a little intimidated since my lampworking skills are not that great, but I'm hoping that is what this is for, too learn.

I'll be there. (at AGI) I have to teach a class in Denver on Monday, so I won't get in till Tuesday sometime. Staying at the no-tell motel. Two of my students are coming this year! Gonna do another "Playtime with Deb" night (probably Wednesday) Got a new game to play for those of you who have played before. Not gonna tell you what's gonna happen till you get there!! Looking forward to seeing everyone again. I did get to see some of you at the Flameworking convention in New Jersey in March...in the nice SNOWSTORM!!!!!! BTW, I'm the judge this year for the "Woman's Flameoff" in October in Phildelphia. It's being hosted by the Philidelphia Glass Works and you can get all the info on their webpage (I think it's PhiliGlassWorks.com but don't quote me on it.) It's gonna be a lot of fun and Rose has some great things planned. I'll also be at the GAS conference in June and going up to Tom's on that Monday for a day of glass making. All of the Lauscha people will be there. Anyone can come. Don't know the details yet..I'll let you guys know when I do. WHEW!!! :puzzled: tata for now...Deb

I'll be going and my buddy joel i've been teaching/working with is also going to tag along. i haven't found time to post on the new forum yet untill now so i guess i'll just interduce my self in here for now. My names Tim, im 22 and have been doing glass on and off since 2000. I was on the old forum before it was shut down and everyone moved over to this one. Use to go by the username "BrokeDPC". Not sure if anyone will even remember me since that was a long time ago. If any of you went to AGI 03 you might remember me, i had a shaved head and i was the youngest kid there that year by 7 years i believe. Either way i cant wait to get back out there to meet all of you and get my learn on. Seems like time has been getting slower and slower the closer AGI becomes:waiting:
