All of my sculptures are Effetre (soft glass.) The blue on the carapace of the beetle is medium lapis.

If find that I can get much better detail and obviously a far better color palette with soft glass, than with boro.

Damn you've inspired me to break into my friend's bin of soft glass that's been sitting around the shop. Well, maybe I'll wait till the temp in the studio breaks 40 degrees. Nice looking bugs!
