Ok so Did a big zong repair last night was perfect,, till I was bout to put it in the kiln then the whole top tube cracked blaaa so I just added a piece and hommie was happy as hell..

HEHEH ahha IT was fun let me tell ya... took a chunk of 50x2.5 and flaired a lip and had it on a 6 mil punty cold sealed.. then slid it down into the cup I wonkilly blew out to keep thick ass fook,, need to work on that ,,

then sealed the 2 lips together and puffed her smooth then cracked the punty off with a lil tap to the blo tube and slid it out the bottom..

claw grabbed the whole cup and hooked it to the rest.. claw grabbers need an upgrade bad.. was way to heavy to spinn and keep straight.. kept slippin .. pissin me off but Fook it its a prototype..

Coat that ruby tube in warm yellow or mystery adventurine. It looks cooler the more it livers out in that sense.

You can watch it strike in the kiln though. It will strike on the top first so you will usually have to flip it over in the middle of things. Getting the timing right is key because it will still be in the kiln for a few minutes after flipping.

Also making sure that you burnt off all the haze in the beginning will help give you a nice ruby strike.

That nug jug looks huge! Nice one :).

Heres my piece from last night, Dbl Ap over white for the horny sections,, n lurch threw in some DAP, black, white, steel wool for the r balls..

lurch dont want me to post pics of his he wants Pro photos.. heheh

so it was fun we chilled Lurch was cool, he wigged the wags. I did all the pulled sections n combs, lurch hooked the re balls to my can, then I put in a diffused downstem SICK, and assembled it up.. ,

I didnt make the tube, the joint is ground into the glass on the tube,, i just tried to make the set match, , made 3 matching mibs today just finished see what they look like 2maro made all 3 diff and big.. weeeeeeee cracked the tube too but got it healed up that was a stressfull moment..

I jacked up a tube pull lost bout 4 inches and who know well see if the rest is good tomorrow,, steelwool,black,white, all on one side DAP english ivy on the other.. I swear i even heated the stiff side twice as long as teh other and still pulled wack,, see how off it is fook,,, I think i got a good usable 2 ft but damn uhhhhhhhh,,

lol yea man, steel wool and black is stiffness. Especially if you are using those Jetblack odds you got from mountain glass.

I only use jetblack firsts in tube pulls cuz its not as stiff.

Hey crip i'm sure my question is already answered somewhere in this thread, but what kind of setup are you on? Your pipes and mibs are lampwork I'm certain, but your tubes are spectacular and I've never seen those made on a torch. Only on lathes.
