Jason, Those pieces might strike better if you put them in a Kiln. I only know of a few glass blowers who are actually still using BBQ Grills to keep there glass hot. Kilns are where the whole movement is going these days. Google it!!!!

Sorry, I have stayed out of it till now.... But until you start (keyword) SHAPING something other than your curves and units, and a beermug once in a while hardly denotes shaping, then you can't begin to say your work is a clean as others at that stage in your career. I mean don't get me wrong I love your curves and whatnot. But just because I can make the same shaped bub 1,000 times and have it look great doesn't mean my over all skill is on par with alot of the other folks you are bashing on. Once you aren't in your comfort zone (though it is makin you cash, props for that) then you can start to REALLY talk shit and be entitled to do whatever you want. I understand your side of the whole thing but all this horse$hit started over folks trying to help you branch out and now it is a war of shit flingin. Doesn't everyone smell bad enough, or have you not repaid everyone fully for trying to broaden your horizons?

wow, those are large units. I prefer making smaller batches...less taine to refine, and you will end up using much less gas when you realize it only takes about 4 seconds of drip to get the prize.... double boiler is the key to success.

I used to do some production metal work and it made me not want to do metal work anymore at all. I kind of resent it now. Its like half that stuff you make winds up sitting in stock for months with no logical reason for why it hasn't sold and the half that did sell is the the stuff that you particularly didn't like making because it was so mindless.
