Ever since i upgraded to IE7 i have been having problems with this board. Everytime i come on here my page scrolls up and down by itself, it real annoying. Im not even touching the mouse and its scrolling up and down as i type. At first i thought it was my mouse but then i realized it only does it when i come to this board, guess im gonna try using Opera. Anyone else have this problem?

Check out www.firefox.com. Firefox is a great free reputable and SECURE browser - it's highly recommended over IE. Try out Firefox and if you don't like it (which is impossible) then save it for a backup when IE is giving you problems.

Running IE is the internet equivalent of leaving the keys in your running car in a bad neighborhood while you go inside a club for 6-7 hours.

Please, check out Firefox.

Why? For instance, this was announced yesterday: http://www.frsirt.com/english/advisories/2007/0584

Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Internet Explorer, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system.

The first issue is due to a memory corruption error when instantiating the "Imjpcksid.dll" COM object as an ActiveX control, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.

The second vulnerability is due to a memory corruption error when instantiating the "Msb1fren.dll", "Htmlmm.ocx" or "Blnmgrps.dll" objects as ActiveX controls, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.

The third issue is due to a memory corruption error when processing specially crafted FTP responses, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.

Note that this doesn't require you to click on anything, punch a monkey, download a virus, or any other action on your part other than just *visit* a web page.

For those instances where you just absolutely positively gotta use IE (like my bank used to make me, for example), check out the IE Tab (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419) addon for Firefox. It lets you switch rendering engines on a per-tab basis. I use this all the damn time doing web development work. It almost makes IE a feature :P
