If you have free passes you should go. That is the biggest wholesale show in the country. I know that Steve Sizelove will be there so you might get a chance to shoot the bull with him and some other well known people.
If you make art and want to sell it wholesale then you want to be In that show. It is huge. I know of several galleries who buy all of their merchandise at that show. They are really weird about letting people in there too so if you have free passes I wouldn't waste them.

A friend of mine went to school down there. She dated this big wig glass blower. I think his name is Ron and he's building a place up in Ithica. She did the trade shows with him for years. So i met with her the other day and we discussed it. She really wants me to come down, she said she would introduce me to a lot of cool chill people. She said she will give me passes for how ever many people i bring.

To bad i got in a car accident last night. I would be driving down right now.
I really need to get out of my bubble and out into the world. Maybe i will find a ride, or at least for sunday.

Sounds like a really cool event. I am determined to get down there.

Im going to try to make this one next year, Don't think the august one would be as good since the buyers want the merchandise for summer, so this Febuary show I'd think would be great. I went to the website, but couldn't find any info on the price of a booth, I'm sure expensive, but if you have the unusual work buyers are looking for, then it should be a profitable venture.

I went to the BMAC yesterday. It was my first time going, and I gotta say it was pretty wild. The glass area alone is huge, there must have been at least 200 glass vendors. I thought that lampworking was a little under represented. There were only 10-15 booths displaying lampworked glass, the rest were mostly hotshop glass or fused glass. I spent most of Saturday at the show and I only covered maybe 20% of the exhibitor floor granted I spent most of my time in the glass area. Its worth checking out if your in the area and can get a hold of a pass.

We're here and it's well worth the visit. Took us two days to make it through the glass section.
