been meaning to do this for ages, hope it helps someone out.



1 heres whatcha need, ( not in pic silver fume and indian red crayon.)


2 coil a bit of clear on stainless blowpipe


3 start coiln


4 keep coiling, making sure to spin color rod outwards away from center of coil.while applying color


5 marver to shape


6 apply lines of indian red leaving spaces of yellow.


7 create termanation avoid bubbles.


8 marver to shape blowing to make even wall thickness.


9 heres what weve got ( strange fume on this one should be nice)


10 preheat cup comes out of kiln, get almost glowing. make sure what its hot right near the point thats where bubbles will trap if cold.

11 thats after the blow in.


12 paddle down end


13 ponty up i used 12 mil with a maria.


14get the point handle clean and melted in right away, this will tend to crack if slow.straiten.


15 rage that bitch! focus on ends.

17 heat middle of tube and cut in half using v necker


18 there ya have it, kiln sections and start making pipes!


forgot to mention after you do the blow in, make sure to pop the hole at the bottom by point handle, or it gets ugly once u punty up...bieing closed and all.....i do this by just shooting the lynx flame up the inside of the section its usually so paper thin it will pop easy.

hope this helps, i highly reccomend the stainless blowpipe, dont know where to get them anymore.. mayb someone can help out?
