This is the first prototype of the Lynx and the first layout of the finished look of the torch (valve placement, internal cooling - no fins, etc.). This particular torch is a seven jet burner, but has a different port arrangement (not shown) than the production model Lynx. Everything on this burner was made by hand. Willy and Wally made the valves specifically for this burner. They are the prototype of the valves that are used now. They added the skirted caps that are on the current production models in order to keep dirt and grit from finding its way between the needle valve shaft and the upper seal and causing premature wear. It was built in 1993.
