I’d like to have a little gathering here this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday ( May 24th, 25th, and 26th) with people cleaning up and leaving on Sunday the 27th.

There will be free camping on site, and the Mickelsen Bar and Grill will be open to cook your own food.

If you want to attend, please call Elaine, and the cost will be $150.00 for the 3 days, and we’ll probably only have 15 people maximum, and we’ll all be working out of the Barry Lafler Building. If you are bringing an RV and would like a spot with Electricity, it will be an extra $20.00.
If you're not far from PA, I hope to see some of you crazy mofo’s next week!!!

So I am looking at putting together a Homefill system for a customer of mine, and have found a few things that concern me based on what I've been told by the salesman I'm dealing with.

The torch this would be running is a GTT Mirage which I am informed has a maximum flow demand of 26 lpm.

The homefill system on an Invacare platinum concentrator only supplies 2 lpm to the compressor. A 5 or a 10lpm unit has the same 2lpm high pressure bypass on the back.

This would give a user about 1.8 hours a day of torch use assuming a maximum flame (marbles, large sculpture).

Even if the larger flame is only on 50% of the time he's working, that's less than 4 hours work per day.

He wants to get 12-14 hours a day on the torch 4-5 days a week. He's a production marble maker, so the bulk of his torch time is spent working on the biggest flame he can tease out of the torch....

I've seen some people here set up the homefills for larger torches, so what's the deal? how do I pull ~15-18k liters of oxygen out a system that only supplies 2880 liters per day?

Can the compressor handle higher throughput than 2lpm? If so, how much?

No, not the kick ass television show that was cancelled well before it's time.

No, the music festival.
http://fireflyfestival.com/?gclid=CP...FYje4AodSnWRLQ

It's in my backyard. It's maybe a mile tops from my house. Good lord, all those people, all that money, all that action..... it's the opposite of lame ass f'ng NASCAR finally.

So I've started asking around town, the Dover Art League, my retired old lady crafter friends on FB, nothing. I've got a bunch of huhs? whats?... Talking about trying to get involved in someway yields "wow that's a good idea Wayne." Something awesome is coming to Dover and no one seems to care.

Does anyone have any inside info? Is anyone going? Vending? Any contact info? Will there be a "Shakedown St."? What is it like running around a giant rock fest campground with a backpack full of glass? (I can walk there easily)

So far some of my shady jobless local customers are all about trying to "help me out", and that's all the interest I've found locally. It's a massive money making/exposure opportunity for me and I have no idea what to do. I'd love to see the local Dover Art League involved but alas, I said I wasn't ready to be a board member yet, so it's still the old lady watercolor club. Haven't really spoken with the Downtown Dover Partnership yet....but I'd think they'd be in contact with the art league.

I also have not contacted the festival yet either. They list "partenrships for sponsors" on the website and nothing about simple vending. I assume it's astronomically expensive to get in officially. Plus would my "wares" even be allowed in officially without the needed tobacco sales licensing? I only have a "retialer, various products" license since I don't have a store front. Shit, we all know that pendants and humming bird feeders ain't gonna fly of the shelves like my pipes will.

Sigh. Am I too old to wander around the campground hocking my glass.... am I too old and wary to trust some loser kids with my inventory? What the heck is a modern music fest like anyway?

I'll gladly take any help/conjecture/advice/derision that ya'll can send my way.

hey guys, quick technical question about the ex-15 and trey cornette*s method of increasing the volume of o2 by adding a holding tank.

Unfortunately my torch has an insanely high lpm consumption rate of 71 lpm. I don't know of a concentrator that can provide anywhere close to that. And runs wide open at 5-10psi.

I'm wondering if a holding tank will make any difference at all towards more lpms and improve torch performance?
