The GLDG is proud to announce a wiki contest. All new entries made the before midnight pst. on April 20th will automatically be good for one chance to be included in a drawing to win a free GLDG t-shirt. That's right, one chance for each new entry! We are trying to create a resource for quality information (no joke entries please). The Wiki is very easy to use and a wonderful resource for new information so get involved and win!
Did you guys know, we now have black shirts! And other colors, too. :D Here are some of the new colors. We can put the design you want on the color you want, and the placement you want, too. On this shirt it can go on the front chest, or pocket. I don't know why but not the back.
Guh. I guess this means I should fix the Wiki CSS so you can actually read it... :P
Okay, the CSS is fixed, at least to a workable level. If you guys run across any white-text-on-white-background hanky panky (or other unreadability nightmares) going on, please send me a PM with the page you saw it on and I'll fix it.

See the link on the top right of the page, to the GLDGwiki? Go create an entry. For example, if you know the definition to a glass term, add it! :D
Okay I just did one on Graal. When I search topics it's not there, but it is in "Your Topic". I'm assuming other people can see it under "graal", but I see it under "your topic". If not, let me know.
awesome entry, jesse! i fixed it so that it's now in graal. you just had to change the title of the topic. your name in the hat one time! :D
What would be the best way to update the soft glass page a bit? Should I edit the page to include what beadmakers are doing or add a new term to talk about above and beyond the bunsen burner?
a new entry in its entirety or can we also just edit a page that doesn't have a ton of info on the topic?
you can add to any page you'd like, but for this contest only new entries count. you can add an entry about anything glass related, bead related, whatever. :)
This will really make the site a great experience to get informed. It sounds like fun I will help!!

i just made a basic one on KILN. dont know if i ocunt but those t shirts are pritty sweet! i want one even if i dont win and have to buy it!
There were some pages created as examples, for example this one. I forgot about these, so...

as you can see there isn't much to it. if you edit a page that is set up as an example, it's basically creating a new page and will be taken as an entry.

I keep meaning to find more time to get one done. I have some bits and pcs on using a industrial o2 gen and some basic info one how they work and what they do. and things to consider before getting one.
I just did one on Graphite. Half the text is in one font and half is in another font. Is that one of those bugs?
