i got one at ACE hardware but probably any hardware store. they have all metal ones with a flattened thumbturn top. it's much nicer than the original.
ACE IS DA PLACE!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
:hotrod:
I use a threaded bolt bent over in a 90'degree angle. Works better then a thumb screw because you can use one hand to tighten it.
definitely ACE.
ooh, im on my way tomorrow.
Some guy named Brad in Dallas made a few for the shop I was working at. It was a regular screw but it had a dime welded to the flat head slot in the screwhead. 3 years and mine is still good.
Spend a couple extra pennies and get a stainless steel one.
If you can't find it just from looking around the hardware store. ask for a " Penny head screw" it should be in the section where they keep all the difrent do dads and gizmos like busings and fastners, o rings. If at a hardware store. Not some place like home depot even if they do have them inless you find some old guy or someone else who has a clue about any thing chances are no one there would know what the heck your looking for. Being as most don't know a screw from a nail as it is.
So make sure you go to a hardware store. If you want to find one.
