well I guess i ought to start some kinda thread seeing as I've been posting my pics here and there....so this is a piece I made last night, first attempt at a snorkel. I ran water into it and it draws real smooth.....

some more stuff I've made over the last few days....I'm really just a hobbist. Im a full time production soft glass blower working in a couple of production shops in seattle....got a small studio for lampin' in my backyard....

Very nice work. I dont know if you got my pm a few days ago but i was saying if you got time off from work ill be that way around the first on my way to tumwater. and again on my way back a few days later so let me know whats up. I remember seeing that gong at your place it really puts that bub into perspective its a lot bigger than i thought. Anyway great work. D

Life can be a cold piece sometimes I was working out in my shop and my kiln started smoking heavily so i had to turn it off. dont know whats wrong. If my girls check comes tomorrow i would love to come and kick it. if i do hope you dont mind if i finish some work i was in the middle of so i can get parts for my kiln. If my kiln is fried i will be looking for a new one how sad i like the one i have. anyway if all works out the beers are on me this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haaa I thought it was the striking bleu chinese tubing ...sorry .. the piece still look really sweet

Bummer dood sorry to hear that.. =(. I just got offered to be the sole supplier for Georgetown. Really stoked the owner of a Georgetown bar really likes my work and decided to give me a display case in his bar. Should be interesting, he also bought my snorkel piece for 100$. More money for the delta woohoo! You still have five pieces at my studio and I have a copy of Essiential lampworking vol 1 for ya... Hit me up when ya get back... Oh yeah sorry you couldn't get the funds put together for that phantom in boulder that would have been sweet!!!

I know it would have been great but having two kids puts a quick stop to a lot of my adventures. sad to know that its only a few miles from me but so far out of reach. I guess in the long run it wont get me down because i will get one eventually and i still need practice to really deserve a great piece of equipment. Great to hear you got your own personal showcase. A bar is a good place to find smokers because everyone there likes to get loaded anyway. Good job selling that snorkel piece it is a good piece and you got good money for it, You the man. Im going to practice alot more and then maybe come work with you some more. I got two more tanks for oxy so if you ever want to go on a trip you are always welcome at my place and you can hook up to your own dedicated tank. D
