Misc. Electroforming ?s

I have read all the old threads, searched google and still have a few unanswered questions. I'd appreciate any and all help!

- Where to buy phosphorized anode plates?

- Where to buy anode bandages? I know Caswell sells bandages, but I can't find any info (size, material)..

- Where to buy copper wire? I read on a diff. thread not to use stuff from craft stores because of plastic coating.. Is this the same case for wire from homedep/lowes?

- Can I pick up any type of degreaser from a hardware store (to clean glass before the tank)?

- Any specific type of lacquer to use as stop off? And should the lacquer be used as a final seal on the piece to keep it looking fresh?

- Are fishtanks a serious no no? I would like to be able to keep an eye on the pieces.

safersolutions.com or riogrande.com both have a good seal.

as long as theyre solid glass and any plastics are the correct kind to not break down they work great. u wont be keeping an eye on them for too long though...i use a pirate treasure chest looking toybox from walmart.

Caswell gives bandages for free when you buy the large sheets of copper. I prefer not to use the bandages....... You can get bare copper wire on amazon. A pound of 18 gauge would probably last you a while.
