New from Central New Jersey

Hello everyone, my names Frank and I'm from Monmouth County, New Jersey.

In September I enrolled at Salem Community College in the scientific program and on Saturday I will be finishing my first semester of glassblowing. I have no experience prior to that, and didn't really know where to go to see if I would even enjoy it. (Always been an admirer of the art side). I absolutely love it and wish I started this years ago instead of wasting time out of High school pursuing a degree at another Community College, but it's finally nice to know what I want to do with my life.

Right now I'm saving up for supplies to start my own workspace at home. This site has been a huge help so far. If anyone knows any shop space in the area please don't hesitate to PM me. I'm new to this all and open to suggestions.

Excited for next semester, but at the same time depressed I won't be on the torch for a whole month while I can be bettering myself.

Thanks! I've been lurking for about a year now, but each time I come back after sitting on the torch I find so much more to educate myself about. Looking forward to meeting you some day too, finally someone relatively close to me.
