Oxygen Concentrator
I'm looking to get an oxygen concentrator for use with my bethlehem bravo. Purchasing a couple of huge tanks of oxygen every month is getting ridiculously expensive. I'm thinking something similar to an ex-20 would work, 10lpm, 18-20 psi. Willing to consider other setups though especially if you have experience with them on a similar torch and can tell me how it works.
Thanks!

Re: Oxygen Concentrator
I use two 10 lpm oxycons with my bravo. I got them on this site from Available oxygen.

Their website is garbage, is there a better way to find their products and prices?

Re: Oxygen Concentrator
Honestly you'll want one on the centerfire and two on outerfire for like tank performance. That being said, Bethlehems like lower pressures like the platnum 10 lpm invicare units, they are super solid great machines and hold pressure perfectly! I have two of each, kinda looking for another platnum to run w my other two( 2 platnum 10's on outerfire and one on centerfire) for best Bethlehem pressure but the one 10lpm/20psi m20 works pretty well for now on centerfire. As is I get an amazing bravo flame thats like tanks at 30lpms, a bravo can only move 31 lpms so its a good match. You can also run the centerfire on one and outerfire on another with respectable results but not going to supply a long candle large raging flame and when outerfire ran more than a couple minutes will likely reduce a bit. Only other way to optimize your bravo on 20 lpms that I can think of would be to Y the oxygen lines( not one for each) on torch so both cons feed one line and then you can distribute more o2 to the outerfire from both( not only one) and use the extra o2 that's not being used for the centerfire. Hope that makes sense, I love my bravo, and yes at times I only need a bit more heat and only run one platnum 10 on outerfire and works well for mid size melt ins and such, I Y both 10s on outerfire so I can turn one off or on depending on my needs. Best wishes.

Re: Oxygen Concentrator
Hey Nomad, I just got one of the 10/20 available oxygen cons, what do you think? I'm still working out an issue that it arrived with and they are good about trying to help. Just want your opinion and I'm expecting to pair w my m20(10/20) both from resperonics and same pressures so I hope that works, wanna run my buki center, and mid fires on 3 10/20 cons and outerfire on homefilled tank. Then have my bravo on platnums and phantom stage on 20psi's.

Re: Oxygen Concentrator
Adalia, let me know if you need any help running the bravo. They are my favorite mid size burners! Also I see ok deals on platnum 10s from sellers like mwest for his price includes shipping, vendors classifieds.

Re: Oxygen Concentrator
I actually think that the center fire uses more oxygen then the outerfire for some reason. I have two oxycons and not three like bethlehem suggested. It actually only uses 26 lpm at full power. I can run mine at 20 lpm and it makes everything I need it to make. Actually it burns the color less.

Re: Oxygen Concentrator
I like the new Bethlehem torches running on on the 5lpm machines. Nomad you realize that the center fire isnt requiring more oxygen on the concentrators what is happening is your higher psi are creating a more forceful centerfire than necessary when you switch off the outerfire. Foot pedals become redundant when you are running those concentrator systems. I would only run 10 psi machines on the outerfire not the centerfire.
