Paragon bluebird xl
Just picked up a paragon blue bird xl and have no idea how to work this bad boy have never blown glass in my life need somome who is willing to share there knowledge on how to program it and what temps are best for what

-Call the factory... and ask
-My kilns are set at 1100F if I am in and out of them every 5 minutes and temps are at 900F when I am taking a nap.
-If you are doing 90 COE the temps are lower.
-I am working hollow forms that are very thick walled 33 COE glass.
-During a production run of certain striking colors, I may run my working temps at 1000F .

I like to start by ramping full up to 1075. A lot of people use 1050, but using 1075 as my garage temp makes sure that things don't get too cold when I take stuff in and out of the kiln.
My Annealing cycle depends on what I am working, but there are plenty of resources around the web (I don't have a link handy).
If you're new and haven't checked it out, check out Contemporary Lampworking by Bandhu Scott Dunham, It's an invaluable resource, and surely will give some kiln cycle guidance.
