Who wants to go in on a group buy of the Stainless Steal Bottle stoppers found Here
I talked to her about three weeks ago when I made my last order and she is having a hard time surviving right now. I am going to buy 20 myself so if a few more of you want to get in on some send me a pm and let me know. I like the #303 the best. If we can order 100 it cuts the price down to $4 a pop. If not everyone should order what they can from her to help her stay in business.:blowkiss:

I just recieved a package from her. I bought 10, a mix of 303 and 305. She was very nice and very fast shipping them. These stoppers are really, really nice. They are still about the size of a rubber stopper, because they fit into a small hole. They are very well made. I am just now starting to make the glass to put on the stoppers.

I'm in for 20. It looks like you could slide a piece of 6 mm inside the 304 for a connection

should probably see if they'll set up the group buy for the forum. That way they can ship direct. I know several other people that were wanting 20-100 of them.

Do the #303's have just that flat surface on top? Would you just epoxy the glass to the flat surface?
That's what it looks like to me from the photo Ben. I think that much surface area with a good two part or Hxtal would be pretty strong.
Ben you are correct you just glue them to the flat surface, I grind the bottom of my glass before sticking it to the stopper to give it a little extra to stick too. As soon as I get my son down for a nap I will call her and ask about the pricing for a group buy and how to work out the shipping.

For what it's worth Nate, I'd be willing to place my order directly and pay shipping extra if I got that rate on the stoppers, to save from having to ship to a separate address and then have someone repack and reship and on and on....

if they will direct ship, i'm interested in the threadless #304. 50-100 depending on price and timing.
the savings is not so great that buying 100 and splitting it into 5 packages gets you anywhere. just food for thought.

I have a few of these, but I would order more. I'll send you an email sometime soon Nate. When I got them I was surprised how small they are compared to the cheap chrome plated kind. Check my photo to see a size reference. Those squares are 1 inch.
Is the volume discount only for each type of stopper or can we mix our orders up and still get the same discounts?

She won't have more her 303s until Monday so lets make the deadline Monday Morning at 9am Pacific.
The only thing that has come up with the shipping direct is how the payment will be made. This is the first time she is shipping direct so we are the test run for her. In order for it to be worth it she needs us to submit one payment. Does the forum have a paypal account that we can all put our portion into it and make one payment? I have one if not but it would have to be a free paypal to paypal transfer or all the fees would make it pointless.
I will have to make sure but I think we can get both styles and get the discount, but the 304s are more than the 303s regardless.
If I'm leaving anything out let me know

I just talked to Ruth to clarify some of my questions and learned the following:
Shipping of 1-50 pieces is $5.60
Shipping of 51-499 pieces is $10.50
The 304 comes in two types:
10/32 threaded is the 304B
1/4" unthreaded is 304C
Prices were quoted at the 500 piece price break for club/forum buys.
She was super nice and was just concerned that everyone knew to specify which type of 304 they wanted so that no one was dissappointed.
Payment must be made as a single payment. Nate, did you figure out if the forum has a paypal account? Will you just invoice us individually and place the order when all the payment is received? Will you extend the deadline if we don't have the needed quantity for the price break?

So far I only have 3 peoples info and we are at 200 stoppers. I am needing mine before next weekend so I need to place my order by tomorrow. No forum paypal, so we will have to use mine. If you want in please send me your info, I will be calling everyone in the morning.

Also I had two payments sent that paypal took fees out of, in order for it to be a FREE paypal to paypal transaction the money has to be in your paypal account not in your bank account. So if its not in your paypal account please account for the fees to be taken out and add extra.

Just in case anyone reads this before sending Nate the $ through paypal...
You CAN send money directly from your bank account and there will be no fees if you do it by choosing "personal" instead of "purchase" when you are sending the money.
