Jerri, your pretties arrived and I want to know how some of them were done.

Ryan, your pendants arrived today and are great! I love the moldavite encasements backed with glow glass in particular. But they are all really nice!

Some pretty pretty work is accumulating on my table. I haven't commented on every one that has gotten here but I've got to send a blanket "wow" to all the participants so far.

I put your gift in the mail yesterday so you should get it either tomorrow or Thursday. You don't have to have that one as the gift though, you can pick from any of them.

Marina, yes, that is copper inclusions. I had some scrap stranded electrical wire and cut it to 1/4" or so lengths. By arranging a FEW of them on my marver I could pick them up as I flattened the glob. Then add a backing colcor and finish the lense, loop and kiln. Be careful to heat the backing color and NOT the flat with the imbedded copper. If the flame touches the copper it will melt and/or oxidize to black. I find too many copper pieces clutter up the design quickly, but the number and pattern (or lack) are a personal preference.
