First attempt at wig wags and condensing them into a ball. I condensed the top almost flat so i could see the patternA bit more. Is this considered a re-ball?

first attempt at using sections and trying to make the gauges hollow w
A reball is a reversal ball. Meaning reversed axis. What you have there is a ball of switchbacks. TO make it a reversal ball you reverse the axis. Pop a hole 90 deg and weld a new blowtube/attach it to whatever there.
Thats what i thought just want to make sure. (i feel stupid now)

First two attempts at sherlocks. The top was my first victim pour welds and shaping. Not even close to the right ratio of bowl to stem (probably wrong on both).
The second one was better all around better weld, shaping, and size ratios owell lesson one learned.

Some vases a double AA in between
the cane pulls are some good progress !
I love making vases they are not as easy as they would appear esp to get them clean.
you showed us these two now go in and make 50 more and show us some progression on vases.
I would like to see your inner perfectionist shine a bit more :)
sometimes when i watch my teacher working on things i can also do i notice the big difference in the way we work is he takes great care to make every step clean as hell . i suppose after doing them janky so many times he got tired of it and did that extra work to make it look clean. where i alot of times am just happy to get a piece out that is in one piece so im happy to make a janky one. its that attention to detail that makes his work shine.
keep at it
