When you flatten the bottom of the bowl, set the mouth piece on the bench first then rock the piece forward to flatten. That will make the flat spot line up with your mouthpiece. I really dig the pinwheels on the bowl of the last piece, keep er up!

Moved everything out of the shop that was being used for storage. Looks like I'm king of the castle again. Made room for a new desk so my kiln is where it needs to be. Infinitely more comfortable and less stressed from clutter. Didn't make much tonight but I got my smith little torch set up. Thanks south Austin boro. This thing is a game changer.
